The long-term high quality standard of our products is supervised, among others, by the UNEX test laboratory, which has recently successfully passed an audit by the accreditation company ČIA Brno and has received a certificate of qualification for accredited testing in accordance with the standard ČSN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005. This international certificate attests that the UNEX test laboratory is capable of impartial and consistent performance of numerous chemical, mechanical and metallographic test at a level of quality that makes its test reports and certificates valid throughout the world.
The successful completion of the qualification assessment authorises the UNEX test laboratory to perform the following tests:
Chemical composition testing
- Spectrometric determination of chemical composition of steel and cast iron
- Determination of chemical composition by C and S combustion analysis
Mechanical testing
- Tensile testing at room temperature
- Impact bending testing at room and reduced temperature
- Brinell hardness testing
- Vickers hardness testing
- Rockwell hardness testing
Metallographic assessment
- Macroscopic and microscopic weld inspection
- Grain size determination
