Parts of Undercarriages
The parts of undercarriages are divided into two groups: components of wheel undercarriages and components of track undercarriages.
The middle part of track undercarriages ends with a circular beam for bearing the slewing gear and contains independently welded left and right crawler frames. All undercarriages are assembled from prewelded subassemblies either in UNEX or at the customer’s location, if necessary.
Circular vertical plates and circular welds are typical components of excavator undercarriages. When producing these components automated welding with a revolution-adjustable positioner can be used.
Undercarriages are produced in size series corresponding to HD, LC or LCN. Their weight ranges from several hundred kilograms to more than 20 tons (large-scale mining excavators).
Materials used: S235, S275, S355, S380, S460, S690.
