The production of hydraulic shovel excavators in UNEX a.s. has a long tradition going back to 1952. At that time innovative arrangements considerably contributed to the development of the company and inland and foreign firms from 59 countries purchased more than 8 500 excavators.

The performance of UNEX excavators in extreme climatic and working conditions (tropical climates, deep Siberian frosts etc.) is comparable to the excavators made by other world producers.

Almost 4 500 excavators were exported: to CIS (former USSR) over 1 300, Poland 620, Romania 570, Bulgaria 400, Hungary 320, Germany 230, China 150, Sudan 140, Cuba 70, Yugoslavia 60, Iraq 60, France 50, Afghanistan 45, Pakistan 40, Venezuela 40, Brazil 30, Vietnam 30, Ecuador 25, Turkey 25, North and South Korea 25, Austria 25 and Spain, Taiwan, Greece, Egypt, Iran, India and Columbia 15 to each.

Many other excavators were supplied to: Belgium, Holland, Italy, Mongolia, Uruguay, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, Great Britain, Argentina, Australia, Chile, Burma, Finland, Ireland, SAR, Libya, Lebanon, Portugal, Mexico, Nigeria, Norway, Peru, Syria, Tunisia, Thailand and Yemen.

In recent times our important customers have included mining and building companies, open pit mines, gravel and sand, railway,  oil companies, etc.
