CPM Uničov a.s. significantly extends manufacturing capacity

CPM Uničov a.s, the subsidiary company of the engineering and metallurgical complex UNEX a.s., on the basis of increasing demand, both from its parent company and from many other important engineering companies, has reorganized in a large scale its manufacturing capacities and extended the number of flame-cutting machines.

At the present time CPM Uničov disposes of many new modern flame-cutting technologies in an area of more than 7000 m². In particular there are new autogenous cutting machines made by the company MGM, types OMNICUT 3100 and OMNICUT 4000, the plasmatic source HPR-260 HYPERTHERM AUTOGAS installed on the machine MGM OMNICUT 3100 and the machine of the company MESSER GRIESHEIM C 8000.

The technological possibilities of the equipment allow materials with thickness from 1 mm to 250 mm to be processed. The plasmatic technology enables us to process, apart from steel materials, also materials based on aluminium and stainless steel. The facilities enable us to also process large sizes of sheets up to 3.5 x 12 m. The production of cut parts follows the system standard ISO 9001:2000 and standards for the quality of cut parts ČSN ISO 9013, ČSN EN 10029 and ČSN EN 10163. Programming on all the machines is done in the SAPSproW programming software for NC flame-cutting machines, guaranteeing optimum material utilization.

For example, CPM Uničov supplies cut parts of structural steels acc. to EN 10025 + A1, plates of heat-treatable structural steels acc. to EN 10083-1+A1 a EN 10083-2+A1, plates of steels for pressure vessels acc. to EN 10028-2, plates of steels for pressure vessels acc. to EN 10028-3, as well as fine grain high-strength steels.

The company disposes of a storage area of 3000 m² containing permanent stock of more than 5000 tonnes of plates, mostly in quality grades S355J2G3 and S235J3G3, but also in special quality grades S690QL, Hardox 450 and QSTE380TM. After having reorganised the management of manufacture and extended the capacity of the flame-cutting centre up to several thousand tonnes per month, CPM Uničov can offer all its current and potential customers a high-quality, economical and reliable source of cat parts.
