UNEX Snina has changed to UNEX Slovakia

The metallurgical and engineering complex UNEX notifies that, since August 1st, 2008, it has changed the name of its subsidiary company UNEX Snina to UNEX Slovakia. The main reason is the planned extending of UNEX activities also outside the former Vihorlat company premises.
Snina in East Slovakia will remain the headquarters of UNEX Slovakia; all UNEX activities in the area of the Slovak Republic will be managed from there.
UNEX began its production in the premises of the former Vihorlat Co. last October when a part of production of cranes and mining and earthwork machinery was moved there from Uničov due to capacity reasons. 360 employees work in two manufacturing halls with a total area of 40,000 m2 and furnished with necessary facilities.
